RESPEC is hiring a Student Engineer (Structural) Intern for its Summer Internship 2027 program in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This temporary part-time position involves assisting with structural design, performing calculations and simulations, researching assigned topics, and supporting field inspections. The intern will work alongside full-time employees, receive mentoring, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams serving public and private clients. Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering; coursework in structural materials, fundamental structural concepts, problem-solving, communication, and some Autocad Revit proficiency are preferred. Compensation depends on experience, and no benefits are offered except those required for statutory purposes.
