Description
Goodwill Greater New York and Northern New Jersey offers a paid summer internship for high school students ages 14–21 enrolled in school and registered with DVRS in Hudson or Essex Counties. Interns work at a community employer site for up to six weeks in summer 2021, up to 20 hours per week and five hours per day Monday through Friday, while participating in pre- and weekly work-readiness classes. The role provides job sampling, employment and interpersonal skill development, and professional relationship building, with expectations including independent community travel, communication with supervisors, confidentiality, and limited job support.
