The Mechanical Engineering Assistant will support the design, analysis, fabrication, assembly, testing, documentation, and reporting of spaceflight hardware prototypes, engineering units, flight units, and ground support equipment. The role is intended for a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or other U.S. person enrolled at Utah State University in a mechanical engineering or closely related degree, with at least two years of school remaining. The position requires 20 hours per week during the school year and up to 40 hours per week during summer, along with availability for graveyard shifts and weekends when testing requires it.
