Description
The Nursing Student Patient Care Technician provides direct patient and family care under the direction of a Registered Nurse in the Neuroscience & Stroke Unit at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Responsibilities include hygiene care, patient ambulation and transport, feeding assistance, call-light response, supply stocking, point-of-care testing, vital-sign documentation, and non-pharmacological pain management. The role requires enrollment in an accredited Registered Nursing Program, completion of Nursing Fundamentals coursework, and AHA Healthcare Providers BLS certification; no prior experience is required.
