Description
The Student Persistence Specialist supports student retention by monitoring attendance, academic performance, and engagement data; identifying at-risk students; providing personalized outreach and coaching; supporting students returning from leave; addressing barriers to success; connecting students with services; documenting and reporting persistence efforts; and collaborating with campus and Unitek teams. The role requires an associate’s degree, preferably a bachelor’s degree, and 1–3 years of experience in student services, advising, admissions, or related support roles. It may include evenings and Saturdays and offers medical, dental, vision, paid leave, retirement matching, life insurance, leadership development, and tuition assistance.
