Description
The Accounting Student Trainee is a paid DFAS internship for current or accepted students in a qualifying degree-seeking or certificate program. Duties include receiving, reviewing, and verifying financial data; entering and correcting financial-system records; balancing and reconciling supporting documentation; and assisting with recurring and special reports. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, maintain at least a 2.5 GPA, obtain or maintain financial-management certification, and meet education or experience requirements. The position may require a security clearance and is intended to fill positions at multiple locations.
