Airbus Defence and Space is hiring a Study Engineer SAR System and Performance to support future SAR mission programs. The role owns feasibility studies, defines SAR system and instrument concepts, designs operating modes, performs performance analyses, develops digital beamforming technologies, coordinates multidisciplinary engineering, and leads study teams and subcontractors. Candidates need a relevant degree, radar and SAR signal theory expertise, MATLAB or comparable simulation skills, fluent German and very good English, and preferably distributed sensor systems experience. The position is based at Airbus’s Immenstaad/Friedrichshafen site.
