The Study Nurse supports physicians and investigators in clinical studies through patient-flow coordination, study visits, documentation, logistics, data management, monitoring, diagnostics, laboratory work, sample shipment, medication, audits, inspections, and communication with sponsors and authorities; the role also provides patient care and caregiver support. The Study Assistant performs similar clinical-study support duties with medical training and comparable healthcare experience.
