Description
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is hiring a full-time Purchasing Specialist to manage a buyer’s desk for purchase activities and on-time delivery of frozen composite raw materials supporting Rotary product centers. The role serves as the primary interface with internal customers, external subcontractors and suppliers, reports performance metrics, and collaborates with program management, operations, supplier quality, and engineering. It may require onsite work up to two or three days per week in Stratford, Connecticut, and includes subcontract specification, bid-package preparation, proposal evaluation, negotiation, subcontract administration, and purchasing activities. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, at least three years of purchasing, expediting, or related supply-chain experience, SAP or similar ERP experience, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
