The Subcontract Procurement Specialist develops subcontract specifications, work statements, terms and conditions, bid packages, and evaluation criteria; conducts bidder conferences; analyzes proposals; negotiates subcontract provisions; selects or recommends subcontractors; prepares awards; and administers resulting subcontracts. The role also coordinates subcontract modifications, supports subcontract policies and procedures, and may sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. Required qualifications include procurement or acquisition experience, subcontract management experience, familiarity with FAR/DFARs, data analysis or negotiation ability, communication skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and strong organizational skills. Desired qualifications include SAP experience, knowledge of Department of Defense contract types, supplier performance management, and familiarity with Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures.
