Description
Lockheed Martin is hiring a Subcontract Manager to manage supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance for moderate-to-high-risk commercial, DOD, and international subcontracts. The role leads multifunctional subcontract-management teams, holds procurement delegation, develops subcontract specifications and terms, prepares bid packages, evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects subcontractors, and administers awards and changes. Candidates need a related bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience, at least three years of professional experience, supplier negotiation and specialized-materials procurement experience, knowledge of acquisition procedures, and U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance.
