Description
The Subcontract Technical Representative (STR) serves as the technical point of contact for moderate- or high-hazard subcontract work, overseeing subcontractor performance and compliance with safety, security, quality, environmental, regulatory, schedule, and cost requirements. The role coordinates field oversight, training, site orientation, technical reviews, subcontractor communications, deliverables, closeout, and accounting activities, while reporting to the Senior Manager, Subcontractor Technical Representative. It requires a technical bachelor’s degree and 9–11 years of relative experience for Level 4, or 12+ years for Level 5, with relevant experience in high-hazard or radioactive/hazardous-waste management preferred. The position is based in Los Alamos, New Mexico, with office work and daily field excursions.
