Description
The Subcontracts Administrator supports government contracting and subcontracting activities by developing subcontract specifications, preparing bid packages, conducting bidders’ conferences, evaluating proposals, negotiating subcontract terms, recommending and awarding subcontractors, and administering resulting agreements. The role also handles supplier sourcing, price and cost analysis, purchase orders, supplier performance, audits, and coordination with suppliers and internal departments. It requires a bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance with two years of experience, or a master’s degree with one year of experience, or three years of related subcontracting experience, along with knowledge of FAR and DFARS and Microsoft Office proficiency.
