Hays Electrical Services is hiring a remote, full-time Subcontracts Manager to oversee the complete subcontractor lifecycle across electrical construction projects, including prequalification, contract execution, compliance, funding and payment administration, invoice validation, lien waivers, risk and performance management, reporting, systems governance, and closeout. The role coordinates extensively with project operations, contracts, legal, accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, supply chain, safety, finance, and subcontractors, and may lead subcontract administration personnel as the function grows. Applicants need at least seven years of progressively responsible experience in subcontract administration, construction accounting, project controls, contracts, commercial management, or subcontractor management, with strong knowledge of construction subcontracts, conditional payment provisions, billing, retainage, waivers, compliance, reconciliation, Excel, and project-based systems.
