Description

Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly experienced Subcontracts Program Manager to lead a team responsible for subcontracting strategies, contract negotiations, risk management, and stakeholder collaboration within their Vertical Launch Systems (VLS) portfolio. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, optimize production processes, and contribute to the overall success of VLS programs.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Minimum 8 years of progressive Subcontract/Contract Management experience in aerospace, defense, or high-technology environments
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree
Active U.S. Secret security clearance
Experience with International Trade Compliance (ITC), import/export, and managing overseas suppliers
Proven success negotiating high-value, complex subcontracts
Expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM) and Control Account Management (CAM)
Ability to estimate Global Supply Chain (GSC) labor hours and materials for proposal efforts
Familiarity with LMP2P reporting functions
Experience leading Lean/Six Sigma or other continuous-improvement initiatives
Proficiency with SAP, Procure-to-Pay, and other supply-chain systems
