Description
Roadrunner Venture Studios is seeking a contract Subject Matter Expert to develop and execute an experimental test program for a proprietary two-phase nozzle intended for intermediate-temperature energy systems. The role involves creating a test plan for geothermal and refrigerant fluids, designing and validating thrust measurement, characterizing spray and mixed-phase flow, measuring pressure and temperature, reducing experimental variables, recommending instrumentation and fixtures, and analyzing results to improve nozzle performance and test methodology. An M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, hands-on experience with two-phase flow or nozzle testing, and the ability to travel to Albuquerque, New Mexico, are preferred.
