DIS-TRAN Steel is hiring a Submerged Arc Welder for its Pole team in Pineville on a weekend shift. The role involves operating submerged arc and seam welding machines, performing visual inspections, adjusting hydraulic arms and welding settings, loading and unloading shells with an overhead crane, and conducting daily preventative maintenance. Candidates must be able to read tape measures, interpret blueprints and reports, and pass a Welder I certification test; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and on-site training and safe machinery operation are required.
