Description
Community Medical Services is hiring a Substance Abuse Counselor to support patients recovering from opioid and other illicit substance use disorders in an outpatient setting. The role includes individual and group counseling, behavioral health assessments, individualized treatment planning, ongoing client evaluation, care coordination, referrals, documentation, and family or natural-support involvement. Candidates must have a high school diploma, GED, or higher, 360 hours of approved substance-use education, and one of several specified substance-use or mental-health counseling licenses; behavioral health experience is preferred.
