Presbyterian Medical Services is hiring Substance Abuse Counselors for its Behavioral Health team. The role provides substance use assessments, treatment planning, individual, family, couples, and group counseling, education, recovery support, aftercare planning, care coordination, documentation, and community outreach. Applicants may be Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors, Licensed Substance Abuse Associates, or other qualified behavioral health professionals with eligible licensure. Required qualifications include an Associate of Arts degree, knowledge of substance abuse treatment and twelve-step programs, at least six months of client screening and assessment experience, and relevant objective testing and training experience; recovering counselors must be drug and alcohol-free for at least two years prior to employment.
