WSP is hiring a Substation Associate Electrical Engineer for its San Diego, California office to support the Power & Energy Substation Team on utility, industrial, and commercial projects. The role involves assisting with substation design, equipment sizing, electrical calculations, documentation, permitting, construction coordination, risk assessment, and project controls under minimal supervision. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, 1–3 years of relevant post-education experience, familiarity with electrical design software, and the ability to work project schedules that may require occasional travel.
