Description
The Substation Design Engineer will design and engineer medium- and high-voltage substations for utility-scale solar and renewable energy projects from early concept through IFC drawings. The role involves producing electrical design deliverables, performing basic power system studies, supporting permitting and utility interconnection, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes, utility standards, and project requirements. It is a remote role with possible travel to project sites, utility meetings, or Enfield, Connecticut.
