Description
HDR is seeking a Substation Electrical Engineering Intern to support Protection & Controls engineering and substation design projects. Under professional supervision, the intern will apply engineering techniques, create or modify wiring diagrams and control schematics, perform AC/DC system calculations based on current and future loads, and contribute to projects through mentoring and professional development programs. The role requires enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program, attention to detail, problem-solving and communication skills, basic Microsoft Office proficiency, and commitment to HDR’s employee-owned culture; preference is given to candidates with two years of coursework completed, a 3.0 GPA, relevant software knowledge, and local availability.
