Description
HDR is hiring a Substation Physical Electrical Engineering Intern to support the physical design of electrical substations under the supervision of project leadership. The intern will create and modify substation physical drawings, markups, equipment specifications, and procurement support, use standard engineering tools, and perform AC/DC system calculations based on current and future loads. The role is intended for students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program and offers hands-on power-grid project experience, mentoring, and exposure to HDR’s employee-owned culture.
