Description
The Utility Operator performs construction, maintenance, and operation of substation equipment, transmission and distribution circuits, and related electrical systems. The role includes installing and testing transformers, switchgear, metering, relaying, control, and communication equipment; working on energized circuits; performing switching and infrared testing; locating underground facilities; and training employees. The position requires a CDL at hire or within six months, alcohol and drug testing, and the ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
