Description
HDR is hiring a Substation Engineer / Substation Project Engineer to design and deliver high-voltage electric utility infrastructure projects, including physical substation, protection, and control engineering for systems ranging from 12 kV to 500 kV. The role supports project scopes, schedules, budgets, calculations, equipment specifications, coordination, and mentoring, with work spanning distribution upgrades, transmission substations, data centers, and other power delivery projects. A bachelor's degree in engineering, a recognized professional engineering license, project execution experience in the Power Market Sector, and familiarity with Microsoft Office and industry design software are required; three years of substation design or power delivery experience is preferred.
