Description
Atwell, LLC is hiring a Substation Engineer for its Oil & Gas group to perform engineering design and analysis of substation projects for clients in Canada and the United States. The role includes 50% quality assurance and quality control, training junior engineers and designers, writing technical documents, and leading projects through scope, budget, execution, and technical quality. Responsibilities also cover electrical substation design, submittal review, calculations and models, project documentation, deliverable management, client requirements, coaching, and occasional field inspection and construction supervision. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in civil or electrical engineering or civil engineering technology, at least five years of relevant engineering or field experience, and AutoCAD, MathCAD, and Microsoft Office proficiency; U.S. licensure is preferred.
