Description
Dashiell is hiring a Substation Engineer to perform substation engineering design, including physical and protection and control practices, for medium- and high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects. The role involves creating design documents and drawings, performing relay, load-flow, and short-circuit calculations, applying engineering standards, coordinating with project teams and customers, visiting job sites, and traveling for training or meetings. The position is based in the Ruston, Louisiana office, reports to a Supervising Engineer, and may be placed in a Design Engineer I, II, or III title depending on experience. A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent accredited degree and at least one year of substation engineering design experience are required.
