Description
Dashiell is hiring a Substation Engineer in its Houston, Texas office to perform substation engineering design, including physical and protection and control practices, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, relay burden, load flow, short-circuit, ground-grid, transformer-sizing, and relay-coordination work. The role reports to a Supervising Engineer, may involve project-site training and short travel, and can be placed in Design Engineer I, II, or III depending on experience. A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, at least three years of substation engineering design experience, and familiarity with electrical relays, metering, schematics, cabling, power-system fundamentals, and applicable engineering standards are required.
