Description

AECOM is hiring a Substation Engineer specializing in physical substation design for the power delivery industry. The role performs limited portions of broader engineering assignments, gathers and correlates engineering data, conducts calculations and simple tests, proposes solutions, identifies discrepancies, and completes work under moderate supervision. The position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, two years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience, high-voltage substation design experience, EIT certification, and proficiency with AutoCAD or Bentley Microstation. Professional engineering licensure, construction knowledge, proposal writing, project estimating, scheduling, project controls, industry knowledge, applicable codes, Microsoft Office, attention to detail, engineering judgment, and time-management skills are preferred. Relocation assistance and US employment authorization sponsorship are not available.
