Description
HDR is hiring a Substation Engineering Intern to gain real-world experience on substation, distribution, and transmission-line projects. The intern will support site visits and design tasks, work on projects with specified objectives, and collaborate with Project Engineers, Electrical EITs, and Technicians/Drafters. The role requires current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program, attention to detail, strong problem-solving and communication skills, basic Microsoft Office skills, and an active commitment to HDR’s employee-owned culture. Preferred qualifications include three years of completed coursework toward an ABET-accredited degree, a 3.0 GPA, knowledge of relevant software, and local candidacy.
