Description
HDR is hiring a Substation Engineering Manager (EM) to lead the technical execution of high-voltage substation projects in its Power Delivery practice. The role partners with a Project Manager, develops technical project plans, assigns work, guides project teams, supports scope and schedule management, performs quality reviews, and may mentor Project Engineers, EITs, or CADD/Designers. The position requires a related bachelor's degree, at least 10 years of management experience, substation design experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to handle multiple assignments; PE licensure and eight years of high-voltage substation design experience are preferred.
