Description
HDR is hiring a Substation Project Engineer to design and deliver high-voltage electric utility infrastructure projects ranging from 12 kV distribution upgrades to 500 kV transmission substations. The role covers physical substation, protection, and control engineering; design calculations and reports; equipment specifications; project scope, schedule, and budget support; and coordination with clients and multidisciplinary teams. The position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, a professional engineering license, prior Power Market Sector project execution experience, at least three years of substation design or power delivery experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant design software. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are available.
