HDR Engineering is hiring a Substation Project Engineer to support physical substation, protection, and control engineering for high-voltage electric utility projects ranging from 12 kV to 500 kV. The role covers substation design, electrical studies and calculations, equipment specifications, project scope and budget support, cross-disciplinary coordination, client communication, and mentoring of less-experienced staff. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an electrical emphasis, prior electrical building design experience, a recognized professional engineering license, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI, and EasyPower. The position may be based in Honolulu or Wailuku, Hawaii.
