Description
HDR Engineering is hiring a Substation Project Manager to manage substation engineering projects of varying sizes and complexities, including proposal development, project execution, quality control, scope, schedule, budget, and closeout. The role leads and mentors project engineers, EITs, coordinators, designers, CADD technicians, and administrative staff; oversees permitting, public and agency engagement, right-of-way acquisition, and construction management; supports client management and business development; and coordinates with regional leadership and talent acquisition. A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, at least two years of project management experience, and strong organizational, project management, and communication skills are required; electrical engineering, FE/PE, PMP, and power-systems experience are preferred.
