Description
The Protection & Controls Substation Designer will support detailed engineering design for substation projects by developing and modifying protection and control design packages, including schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and interconnection drawings. The role applies protection and control systems knowledge, supports relay and control system design, performs design checks, assists with material takeoffs and equipment layouts, and coordinates deliverables with engineers and multidisciplinary teams. The position requires at least one year of substation design experience, with exposure to protection and controls preferred.
