WSP is hiring a Substation Senior Structural Engineer for its East Energy team in Buffalo, New York. The role leads engineers, designers, and drafters while performing electrical substation structural design, including foundations, structural supports, rigid bus, and control building design. Responsibilities include bus analysis, coordination with multiple disciplines, construction specifications, cost estimates, proposals, schedules, shop drawing reviews, RFIs, constructability evaluation, and construction-phase support. The position requires a BSCE, 5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience, structural analysis expertise, advanced knowledge of building codes, and successful completion of the NCEES Professional Engineering exam. Occasional travel may be required, and the expected salary is $112,000 to $140,000.
