The Substitute - Educational Assistant IV supports special education teachers and students by assisting with instruction, IEP goals, daily classroom and lab activities, health-related services, medication administration, therapeutic activities, student supervision, transportation, and life-skills instruction. The role also provides clerical support, maintains student records, documents Medicaid services, and collaborates with special education specialists and parents. It requires a high school education or equivalent, First Aid and CPR certification, and the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 40–70 pounds. The position is based at Gold Rush Elementary, pays $19.84 per hour, and remains open until filled through November 26, 2026.
