Self Help Inc. is seeking a reliable, safety-focused Substitute Head Start Preschool Bus Driver in Brockton, Massachusetts to provide on-call transportation coverage for preschool children enrolled in the Head Start program. The role involves safely operating a bus, completing pre- and post-trip inspections, supervising children with a bus monitor, communicating with families and staff, and maintaining compliance with traffic laws, Head Start policies, and state/federal transportation regulations. It is a per-diem, hourly position with short-notice scheduling, requiring a valid Massachusetts CDL Class B with school bus/passenger endorsements, school bus certification, first aid/CPR, and a clean driving record.
