Description
The Substitute Nurse fulfills the responsibilities of the school Nurse in the absence of the primary nurse. This includes acting as a healthcare provider and manager, planning, assigning, and directing the work of the Health Services program. Key duties involve identifying, assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating student and staff health concerns, providing health assessments and referrals, maintaining accurate health records, promoting disease control, managing chronic diseases, implementing individualized healthcare plans, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
