Description
The Deaf-Blind or Deaf-Hard-of-Hearing Paraprofessional instructs pupils individually or in groups using total communication, including sign language, and supports teachers with classroom instruction, IEP implementation, behavior management, safety, medication assistance, and related duties. The role requires three months of paid experience working with people who communicate only through sign language or an equivalent combination of training and experience, high school or equivalent education, and completion of one of the ESSA academic-proficiency pathways.
