Description
The Substitute - Program Leader - BASE supports the Director and Assistant Director in supervising children in programs and unstructured activities, guides behavior, ensures safety, builds relationships with children, and plans and implements learning activities. The role may provide individual or small-group assistance in before-school, after-school, and full-day child-care programs and is needed on an as-needed basis throughout school contact days and breaks. Applicants must be at least 18, have verified experience caring for four or more unrelated children over age four for at least three months, or hold an appropriate early childhood credential; a high school education and First Aid and CPR certification are also required. The position is based at Silver Spruce Elementary, pays $18.31 per hour, and remains open until filled through November 12, 2026.
