AIDB is hiring a Substitute Resident Advisor to work across its Alabama School for the Blind, Alabama School for the Deaf, and Helen Keller School campuses. The role covers duties in the absence of full-time staff, including serving students, following policies and confidentiality requirements, handling emergencies, and assisting students with physical disabilities. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, sign-language proficiency at the Survival Plus level for ASD, and the ability to work flexible schedules and physically assist students, including lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.
