Description
The Substitute Teacher delivers instruction using provided lesson plans, maintains a safe and respectful classroom, takes attendance, supports individual students, follows school policies, communicates with students and staff, and leaves detailed notes for the returning teacher. The role requires a bachelor's degree in an applicable field of education, a current 30-Day Substitute teaching credential or another appropriate California teaching credential, strong English communication skills, and the ability to travel 0–10% within Los Angeles County. The position also requires TB test renewal every two years and verification of Pertussis, Measles, and Influenza immunizations.
