Eastern Oregon University is hiring a part-time Substitute Teacher Assistant to support contracted Head Start teachers as needed. The role involves maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom, helping implement lesson plans and daily schedules, supervising children, supporting family involvement, maintaining records, and communicating with families and service providers. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, experience working with children, and must complete background, health, and food-handler requirements; CDA or an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education is preferred. The position pays $20 per hour and is open until filled.
