Description
Westchester Day School is seeking Substitute Teachers to provide instruction and support in its daycare (ages 2-4) and classrooms (grades K-8) when regular teachers are absent. The role involves delivering prepared lessons, supervising students, maintaining classroom routines, adapting teaching methods, communicating with students and staff, and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid teaching certificate or substitute teaching permit, and strong communication and classroom-management skills; previous experience with children or in an educational setting is a plus. The salary range is $17.000/hour to $22.00/hour, depending on education and experience.
