Description
The Substitute Teacher provides instructional continuity and classroom management in the absence of a regular teacher, following lesson plans and school protocols while supporting students’ academic and social-emotional development. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of education, a current 30-Day Substitute teaching credential or another California teaching credential with appropriate subject authorization, strong English communication skills, and the ability to travel 0–10% within Los Angeles County. The position also requires TB test renewal every two years, California immunization verification, and the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds.
