Description
The Lansing School District is hiring Substitute Van Drivers for its F.O.R.T Program to pick up and deliver students in a district-owned van to schools, shelters, hotels, and other temporary nighttime locations. The role requires a valid driver’s license, good driving record, age of at least 21, transportation experience, physical and security screening, and the ability to work a variable on-call schedule. Responsibilities include transporting students, maintaining the van, keeping work areas clean and safe, and following district and applicable guidelines. The position is for the school year, with workdays as needed up to five days per week and hours as needed up to seven hours per day.
