Description
AECOM is seeking a SUE Technician to support Subsurface Utility Engineering, private utility locating, and related projects throughout its Eastern region. The role uses geophysical equipment, observational skills, and deductive reasoning to identify, designate, and locate utilities through vacuum excavation in accordance with ASCE 38-02 and 38-22. The position requires frequent travel to field locations, including overnight travel, outdoor work in varied weather, and lifting equipment up to 50 pounds. A bachelor's degree plus two years of related experience, or an associate degree plus four years, or a high school diploma plus six years, along with SUE, private locating, or surveying experience, is required; a valid U.S. driver's license and background checks are also required. Relocation assistance and sponsorship are not available.
