Description
General Matter is hiring an Embedded Engineering Intern to develop safety-critical software that controls enrichment systems. The role involves low-level firmware in C/C++, Rust, and/or PLCs, control architectures, data acquisition, automated testing, hardware integration, debugging, and commissioning. Candidates must be current undergraduate or graduate students in a relevant engineering or computer science discipline, have development experience in C, C++, Golang, Python, or Rust, and understand embedded or low-level systems. The internship pays $32–$46 per hour, includes a monthly housing stipend, and may require extended hours and weekends.
