Description
Pacific Fusion is hiring a Software Engineering Intern to develop web-based user interfaces and backend services for the fusion demonstration facility. The intern will build systems for real-time monitoring, configuration, alerts, diagnostics, data serving, and integration with controls and data pipelines, while writing maintainable code, participating in code reviews, and testing software in live environments. The role requires pursuing a relevant degree, coursework or experience in software development, web or backend programming, and familiarity with languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, or Python, along with database and API knowledge. The internship is full time and onsite for at least 12 consecutive weeks beginning in mid-May through mid-June 2027, with a base salary of $30–$48 USD and additional benefits.
